Bodyboarding Fins Comfortable Alternative to Foot Flippers ~ shinfin™ Streamlined Body Boarding Evolution ~
fins for legs = freedom for feet ~ shinfin™ leg flippers ~
Are you looking for comfortable bodyboarding fins that don't strain your feet, ankles, Achilles tendons and calf muscles? Are you interested in swim fins that leave your feet and ankles free to move naturally - fins that are easier than foot flippers to walk in? Will you value body boarding equipment that helps you track better in the wave, with efficient, streamlined kick power from the strong muscles in your thighs, buttocks, stomach and torso? If so, then this page is for you.
I offer you the evolutionary benefits of shinfin™ fins - radical new body boarding fins for comfortable feet, streamlined wave ride and many other bodyboarding benefits.
~ fin power surface is closer to your board
~ better steering across the wave
~ more streamlined for a faster ride
~ power from strong thigh and torso muscles
~ easier to lift out of water for low drag
~ easier to drop-knee and stand on board
~ your feet are free to grip board
~ lightweight, wear with or without wetsuit
~ don’t fall off in waves
~ don't fill with sand and hurt
~ less pain in your feet, ankles, Achilles, calfs
~ tough polyurethane fin to resist wave forces
~ secure, replaceable rubber straps
~ stay out longer and have more fun
~ can even combine with foot flippers to increase sprint speed
Standing in strong currents in shallow water (about knee-deep), flexes the fins in the direction of the current. This stops once the water gets a bit deeper (about waist-deep) and you float or swim.

 | I am always happy to give feedback for a great product. I have been progressing well and find them really great fun and definitely less tiring to wear than my old fins. Still get looks from the locals!! I am finding that they certainly give me more power in my kick-strokes but best suited to the bodyboarding for me so far. I think the fins give a more consistent and stronger thrust. – Jeremy from Emerald Beach, Australia. |
 | For me the biggest advantage with shinfin™ fins is that I no longer suffer strains in the tendons/ligaments in my feet as I did with the flippers when bodyboarding. Sometimes it would take almost a week to recover from a foot strain with the flippers. Secondly I like the fact that I can walk around with them on both on land and in shallow water. It's a little bit awkward but almost nothing compared to flippers. So they are safer than flippers in that respect. One other advantage is that I think it is unlikely someone would loose a shinfin™ fin if it was put on correctly. They seem very secure. While I've never lost a flipper while bodyboarding, I know people who have. On balance shinfin™ fins are a substantial improvement over conventional flippers for bodyboarding and I would not go back. – Bill from Christchurch, New Zealand. |
