International SSL Security Encryption Standard
Shinfin uses the international SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) security standard to encrypt all your sensitive information. SSL encryption is activated on all Shinfin website pages that ask you to enter sensitive information. SSL encryption is active when you see the yellow closed-padlock in your browser window, so you can check this.

The credit card details that you enter on the Shinfin credit card payment page, never go to the Shinfin website. Your credit card details are encoded in your own computer browser, using the international SSL security standard, before being sent directly to the payment gateway for bank processing. Your credit card details do not even pass through the Shinfin website.

Shinfin never sees or stores your credit card details. Shinfin never has access to your credit card details.

Personal Information Privacy
Shinfin only uses your personal information to fulfil your order and enhance your shopping experience. Shinfin will never give, rent or sell your personal information to anyone for any other purpose.

Shinfin gathers your name, email address, billing details, delivery details and other optional information that you choose to give us. This personal information is encrypted in your own computer browser, using the international SSL security standard, before being sent to the Shinfin website, so you can track your order and shop easier next time.

You can login to the Shinfin website to amend or delete this personal information at any time. This personal information never includes the credit card details that you enter on the credit card payment page (see above).

Website Statistics
The Shinfin website host provider records the following visitor information for statistical purposes - the visitor's server address, the visitor's top level domain name (eg. .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc.), the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used.

No attempt will be made to identify individual visitors or their browsing activities, except in the unlikely event of an investigation or where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect these logs.
