Flatter swim style without hurting feet fins

Diana has found that shinfinTM fins teach a flatter swimming style without hurting her feet like regular flippers. Furthermore, she swims more horizontally in the water with a better swim technique, even when she takes her fins off.

Diana’s review from Tweed Heads, Australia

“The shinfinTM fins are great. It’s the first time I have been able to use flippers without hurting my feet so I am really happy.”

Diana’s review: Fins teach a flatter swim style without hurting feet

“Have been on holidays so haven’t been able to get back to you. The shinfinTM fins are great. It’s the first time I have been able to use flippers without hurting my feet so I am really happy. Took me a while to get used to them, about 3 times plus a couple of tips from the pool attendant. Have also let the pool attendant try them but haven’t seen him again to find out what he thought of them.”

“My sister is coming to stay with me next Feb and I’m sure after she tries them out she will be ordering a pair also. Thank you very much.”

Many thanks for your reply. That’s great, I’m glad you like them so much. You should find that your swimming technique and speed improve as you swim with them more and more. We get a lot of excellent feedback like this. I’d be very interested to hear how you progress.

“I forgot to mention that when I do freestyle now with or without the flippers I am lying flatter in the water and my swimming style has improved (so Lionel says). Yes that will be fine about the extracts from my email on your website.”

Yes, We get a lot of feedback just like that. It’s fascinating how well the streamlined position and style carry across to “no-fins” swimming. The reason is that the kick action that feels best with shinfinTM fins, is very similar to the kick action that works best for “no-fins” swimming. So you remember the kick pattern and transfer it across.

Conclusion

shinfinTM fins help you to learn to swim with a better swimming style which stays with you after you take them off. Your body will become flatter and more horizontal in the water as in these other interesting swim style reviews too. So they are also good for swim instruction. In addition, they don’t hurt your feet like regular flippers.
