Rough seas & current: snorkeling fins

Snorkeling with shinfinTM fins powered Joanne and her sister safely through rough seas and currents. So the fins meant they could keep up with the stronger swimmers in their group. Furthermore, her sister did not get sore feet because shinfinTM fins don’t enclose your feet like regular flippers.

Joanne’s review from Curtin, Australia

“shinfinTM fins were excellent. Despite not being strong swimmers, we could keep up with rest of the strapping young men in rough seas and current. So they were very good and I am very happy with them.”

Joanne’s review: Snorkeling with fins in rough seas & current

“Last year I purchased two pairs of shinfinTM fins. We went snorkeling at Byron at Xmas. Snorkeling was crap – very rough, too deep, strong current – didn’t see a thing.”

“BUT shinfinTM fins were excellent. Despite not being strong swimmers, we could keep up with rest of the strapping young men in rough seas and current. Their design meant that my sister, with the tender scars on top of both feet, did not get sore feet. So they were very good and I am very happy with them.”

“Going to Vanuatu or Fiji in June this year for some hopefully better snorkeling and will be further delighted with shinfinTM fins I’m sure. Have a great New Year.”

Thank you for your kind email Jo. Great news, about the fins that is, not the snorkeling conditions! Vanuatu is great fun. It is one of my past testing ponds, so the fish may recognise your fins! I haven’t been to Fiji.

Anyway, great to hear you both enjoyed the fins so much. We get a lot of feedback like this.

Conclusion

shinfinTM fins give you smooth power to snorkel more safely in rough seas and currents. Great for open water swimming too. They don’t give you sore feet because they don’t enclose your feet like regular fins.
