You might be interested to know that I get a lot of positive feedback from pool swimmers: learners, fitness swimmers and team swimmers etc. Almost without exception, they like the natural swimmers’ kick that shinfinTM fins encourage: the streamlined, horizontal body position. Together with kicking using the big muscles in the thighs, buttocks and torso without stressing the feet and ankles. It can take some people a while to strengthen for this swimmers’ kick, especially if it is a bit new to them.
I also get many reports from customers saying that their normal no-fins kick and overall swimming technique (arms too) is much improved by regular training with their shinfinTM fins. They lead you into a natural kick, especially if you don’t think about it too much and just let the fins guide you. Then they strengthen you for the right kick. Interestingly, the streamlined kick pattern tends to remain with you more and more after you have been training with shinfinTM fins for a while. To transfer this kick pattern to your normal no-fins swimming, many people find it helps to swim some laps without fins immediately after swimming with their shinfinTM fins.
