Leanne loves her shinfinTM fins for lap swimming in tidal ocean pools and council pools. She finds them comfortable to wear whenever she swims because they give her the best swim styles. They are comfortable because they flex to fit her legs and the straps are adjustable to suit most leg sizes and shapes. They give many benefits over foot flippers, which she cannot wear.
Leanne’s review from Central Coast, Australia
“I love my shinfinTM fins. I was unable to wear flippers so now I wear shinfinTM fins every time I go swimming. They are comfortable. I do lap swimming in a tidal pool or I use local council pools. I average 10 kilometres a week.”
Leanne’s review: Comfortable lap swimming fins in tidal & council pools
“I love my shinfinTM fins. I was unable to wear flippers so now I wear shinfinTM fins every time I go swimming. They are comfortable and of course can take longer to put on but you get quicker with practice. Lots of people enquire as to what they are and where I got them. I love promoting them so lets hope you get plenty of enquiries.”
Thank you for your kind reply Leanne. Great to hear that you love them. What swim activities are you using them for? And thank you for helping to spread the word about shinfinTM fins, I really appreciate it.
“I do lap swimming in a tidal pool on the high tide in my local area or if that doesn’t suit I use local council pools. I average 10 kilometres a week.”
You might be interested to know that I get a lot of positive feedback from pool swimmers: learners, fitness swimmers and team swimmers etc. Almost without exception, they like the natural swimmers’ kick that shinfinTM fins encourage: the streamlined, horizontal body position. Together with kicking using the big muscles in the thighs, buttocks and torso without stressing the feet and ankles. It can take some people a while to strengthen for this swimmers’ kick, especially if it is a bit new to them.
I also get many reports from customers saying that their normal no-fins kick and overall swimming technique (arms too) is much improved by regular training with their shinfinTM fins. They lead you into a natural kick, especially if you don’t think about it too much and just let the fins guide you. Then they strengthen you for the right kick. Interestingly, the streamlined kick pattern tends to remain with you more and more after you have been training with shinfinTM fins for a while. To transfer this kick pattern to your normal no-fins swimming, many people find it helps to swim some laps without fins immediately after swimming with their shinfinTM fins. So you might like to try this too.
I hope this helps you Leanne. Please let me know if you have any questions as I am here to help.

They also help you to learn the best swim styles. You will find shinfinTM fins comfortable to wear because the straps are adjustable to suit most leg sizes and shapes. Also, the fins flex to fit small people with short legs to tall people with long legs.
