Broken foot & Achilles: recovery fins


Geoff (doctor) used shinfinTM fins to help his own recovery from a broken foot, and also loaned them to a patient to recover from Achilles tendon inflammation. Because they attach above the ankle, they allowed him to maintain leg strength during his recovery, without stressing his foot like ordinary flippers. So they gave him a better, more comfortable workout.

Don’t hurt calves: easy learn to swim fins

No tired ankles or chafed heels: snorkeling fins


Afton enjoys snorkeling with shinfinTM fins because they don’t give him tired ankles or chafed heels like traditional foot fins. This because they encourage him to kick with his whole leg, without ankle strain or Achilles pain. They streamline his entire body to snorkel faster. Plus, there is no heel strap to rub or chafe. Comfortable exercise: swim training fins


shinfinTM fins intensify Tom’s swim training exercise and he finds them very comfortable with no clunkiness, unlike regular foot fins. Flip turns improve by entering the turn a bit harder. He trains in a pool and also in more open water in his large outdoor pond.

“I find them ingenious in design and very helpful in swimming. One knows they are there, but just at the edge of awareness. There is not the least bit of clunkiness to them. Works really well and very comfortable on my feet, unlike normal flippers. I use them to make the exercise of swimming a little more intense. Better crawl stroke: swim learning fins

Fast sprint & comfortable, light: kneeboarding fins


Comfortable and light, Graham’s shinfinTM fins give him a fast sprint speed on his kneeboard to catch waves. They don’t give him foot cramps like regular foot fins and they are comfortable when kneeling on his kneeboard. Furthermore, they leave his feet free to walk and jump off rocks, for easier water entry.

Learn stronger normal swimming without fins too


By simply doing laps with her shinfinTM fins, Margo also learns much stronger normal swimming without fins. This is because they help her learn to swim in the correct kicking position with straighter legs. So they give her more hip power and efficiency. As a result, her swimming feels very easy. She can swim twice as far without getting tired, thus boosting her swimming confidence. So her swim learning with shinfinTM fins transfers to greatly improve her swimming without fins too. Weak arms & mobility: disability fins


Amanda has a mobility disability and, as her arms can also be quite weak, she fits her shinfinTM fins using the alternative strapping for weaker fingers. They adjust to fit her larger legs and allow her to share her fins. By encouraging kicking from the hips, they have greatly improved her kick and swimming comfort. Furthermore, her brother could feel them improving his swim style after only one use.

Great control & no foot pain: snorkeling fins

Natural rhythm & very comfortable: workout fins
