Comfortable fins reviews

New born comfortable fins for you!
Newly born comfortable fins for you!

Highly comfortable is a key benefit of shinfin™ fins, as shown in the customer reviews below. You will feel them more comfortable than regular fins for two main reasons.

Firstly, they fit on your legs, not on your feet. So your toes, feet and ankles are all free and more comfortable.

Secondly, they encourage a streamlined kick from your hip. So you reduce pain and cramps in your Achilles tendons, calf muscles, knees and back.

  • Don’t hurt calves: easy learn to swim fins

From never being able to swim a lap, shinfinTM fins have helped Dass learn to swim many laps, in comfort and without hurting her calves, unlike foot fins. This is because they teach and guide her into a good swimming style. They also give her the confidence to swim out of her depth by improving water safety.

    Dass’ review from Middletown, USA

“The fins are great! I just started taking swimming lessons. I have never been able to do a lap in the pool. They have helped me learn to swim and also given me the confidence to stay in the water even when I cannot touch the bottom. I used to use normal fins and they always hurt my calves. But with shinfinTM fins, my legs move in the correct form for swimming and they just make everything easy. Now I swim laps for about 30 minutes non stop! Thanks Marc, for this great invention!”

  • No tired ankles or chafed heels: snorkeling fins

Afton enjoys snorkeling with shinfinTM fins because they don’t give him tired ankles or chafed heels like traditional foot fins. This because they encourage him to kick with his whole leg, without ankle strain or Achilles pain. They streamline his entire body to snorkel faster. Plus, there is no heel strap to rub or chafe. So he can snorkel comfortably for longer. Tough and lightweight, they are also easier to pack for snorkeling trips. Furthermore, they stay on in waves.

Afton’s review from St. George, USA

“I just returned from a snorkeling trip in Bermuda. I enjoyed using my shinfinTM fins. With traditional fins I ended up with tired ankles and the strap chafing on my heel. On this trip I was always the last one out and felt the same as when I first went in. I will definitely recommend them. shinfinTM ON!”

  • Comfortable exercise: swim training fins

shinfinTM fins intensify Tom’s swim training exercise and he finds them very comfortable with no clunkiness, unlike regular foot fins. Flip turns improve by entering the turn a bit harder. He trains in a pool and also in more open water in his large outdoor pond.

Tom’s review from New York, USA

“I find them ingenious in design and very helpful in swimming. One knows they are there, but just at the edge of awareness. There is not the least bit of clunkiness to them. Works really well and very comfortable on my feet, unlike normal flippers. I use them to make the exercise of swimming a little more intense. Chiefly in a 100 meter pond on our farm upstate and in a pool here in NYC at NYU where I work as a professor. I do hope they become widely known and used. Great invention.”

  • Better crawl stroke: swim learning fins

Evelyn’s shinfinTM fins help her learn to swim, especially with a better front crawl stroke. In particular, wearing them enables her to focus her attention on improving her stroke and breathing. Furthermore, after she uses her fins for the first half of her workout, she notices her stroke improvements transfer to her no-fins crawl stroke too. Most importantly, she finds them comfortable with no foot cramps, unlike regular foot fins.

Evelyn’s review from Santa Cruz, USA

“I am a very satisfied customer. I just learned to swim the crawl stroke with my face in the water. The fins have helped me a lot. Using them, I have been able to pay more attention to and improve my stroke. The best part – NO FOOT CRAMPS! Buying them was a spot-on decision, and I am going great with them.”

  • Fast sprint & comfortable, light: kneeboarding fins

Comfortable and light, Graham’s shinfinTM fins give him a fast sprint speed on his kneeboard to catch waves. They don’t give him foot cramps like regular foot fins and they are comfortable when kneeling on his kneeboard. Furthermore, they leave his feet free to walk and jump off rocks, for easier water entry.

    Graham’s review from Maroochydore, Australia

“The fins are definitely a breakthrough. Good sprint speed for catching the waves (kneeboard). Comfortable in kneeling position. Very comfortable and no foot cramp. Easy to walk and jump off rocks for water entry.”

  • Learn stronger normal swimming without fins too

By simply doing laps with her shinfinTM fins, Margo also learns much stronger normal swimming without fins. This is because they help her learn to swim in the correct kicking position with straighter legs. So they give her more hip power and efficiency. As a result, her swimming feels very easy. She can swim twice as far without getting tired, thus boosting her swimming confidence. So her swim learning with shinfinTM fins transfers to greatly improve her swimming without fins too. Furthermore, she finds the fin comfort wonderful and no longer gets cramping in her feet and toes when she swims without fins.

    Margo’s review from Weetangera, Australia

“Just to let you know that I took your suggestion of trying to swim without the fins, after having done a number of laps with them. Couldn’t believe how much stronger my ‘normal’ swimming was! I kept my legs straight when kicking, and moved with more power and efficiency through the water (and so far, no cramps!). I am sure this is due to my body having been ‘trained’ into the correct position when using the fins.”

  • Weak arms & mobility: disability fins

Amanda has a mobility disability and, as her arms can also be quite weak, she fits her shinfinTM fins using the alternative strapping for weaker fingers. They adjust to fit her larger legs and allow her to share her fins. By encouraging kicking from the hips, they have greatly improved her kick and swimming comfort. Furthermore, her brother could feel them improving his swim style after only one use.

    Amanda’s review from Canberra, Australia

“I have noticed a great improvement in my kick and have really enjoyed the way they work the legs and buttocks. I have a mobility disability and find that the fins make my swim a lot more comfortable. One great thing is being able to share them – much easier than with conventional flippers! But, I am a bit reluctant ’cause I love them so much.”

  • Great control & no foot pain: snorkeling fins

Bill gets great control and maneuverability, without any foot pain, when he snorkels and swims with shinfinTM fins. This is because they leave his feet free and don’t bend or hurt his feet. In contrast, normal flippers aggravate his feet so they only allow him to swim for short periods.

    Bill’s review from Rockingham, Australia

“The shinfinTM fins were perfect. Everything I had hoped they would be. Great control and maneuverability. Best of all no pain in the foot. So I was in the water till I turned blue. Many thanks for a great invention.”

    Graham’s review from Coolbinia, Australia

“I’ve used them twice and they were great; very comfortable and easy to keep my natural rhythm. Made my legs & glutes work hard. No hesitation recommending the shinfinTM fins.”

Tony gets no back problems when he uses his shinfinTM fins for exercise swimming. Also, he doesn’t get the calf or foot cramping that he gets with regular foot fins. So overall, he finds them very comfortable.

“They certainly do not cause my lower back any problems when swimming. Very comfortable and have no problems with calf or foot cramping I get with normal fins.”
